Caltha Palustris (Marsh Marigold) A native wildflower over most of the Northern hemisphere, and much loved for their showy buttercup flowers that grace streamsides and other wet places in early spring. Grows best in a rich moist soil that never dries out, but will adapt to all but dry conditions. Plants quickly form a clump of rounded leaves, bearing sprays of deep yellow flowers. Often will go completely dormant in summer. Lovely reflecting in a pond. North American wildflower. 1 gal
